Sunday Go Ta Meeting

Here's a view of the church building as I approach it. The inside is simple, as is the service. Attendence was low, I think there were 8 of us. I sure the weather prevented many from venturing out. I was glad I was there, I wasn't sure I was going to find my way this morning. The route I took last week was drifted too deeply to even attempt. But, I walked around to where I thought the boardwalk would be, and found that most of the boardwalk across to the area where the church is was swept clean by the winds. In fact, the winds got me there faster by pushing me... I felt like I was at O'Hare on the moving sidewalk on my way to the United terminal!
A couple of things that amused me as I got ready to venture out this morning... First, I forgot to bring in my snowpants from the arctic breezeway. Bummer. Freezing snowpants don't keep one very warm. But, then I had a "scathingly brilliant idea". The dryer! I popped them, and my down jacket layer into the dryer for a couple of minutes, and voila, toasty warm.
The other thing was my Bible dilemma. Needing to protect it from the elements, I came up with a new concept in Bible cases, what do you think?
