It's almost eight, and we just wound up for the day. I have some senior girls that are working hard to catch up in math to meet their graduation requirement. They are under a goals based system, so they have to demonstrate competency in each area in order to pass. To make it even worse, there was apparently some sort of record keeping issue, so they have to go back and re-do some things.
It's been intense, but I've enjoyed spending time with them. Such sweet, soft-spoken girls, I know that I would not have gotten to know them very well had circumstances been different. It's all good.
