Ghosts of Teachers Past

Yesterday some of the other teachers and I went treasure hunting.  We were on the prowl looking for anything & everything that could be used for prom and graduation decorations.  The old school is used for storage... there and boxes and boxes of random things!  Some boxes have a consistent theme like math materials or  old textbooks... others are just a hodgepodge of whatever.  It seems when teachers leave here, their stuff is just boxed up and put into storage.

Being the solemn person that I am, I was intent on a envisioning how some fake roses could fit into the grand scheme of things when I heard giggling coming from the adjoining storage closet.  After some rustling and more giggling, out popped this amazing sight!

I ran for my camera, and then enjoyed the moment!  Serious-minded educators at their finest:

We had a blast rummaging and exploring.  We found a plethora of odds and ends that could be fashioned into the Hollywood themed Prom the kids are dreaming of... but you'll have to wait a couple of weeks to see the finished product.
